The Novelty Gift Comapny - Terms of Business
Payment terms, Late Payments & VAT
Strictly net 30 days on
approval of a minimum of two credit references and a bank reference and completion
of account application form. Late payments are subject to an interest rate
of 2.5% per month. VAT is charged at a current rate of 17.5% for all UK customers.
Price
All prices quoted are
ex VAT and delivery. Due to market and currency fluctuations we reserve the
right to vary prices with suitable notification.
Payment Methods
Payment can be made by:
i) Cheque
ii) Telegraphic Transfer/Chaps payment
iii) Credit/debit cards (2% commission charge incured for credit cards)
iv) BACS payment
Minimum orders
/ Delivery:
New Accounts - minimum
opening order £250.00. Re-orders - Minimum re-order £150.00. Please
bear in mind that product minimum orders will apply regardless of order values.
Delivery is charged at cost including BFPO and Channel Islands. Delivery charge
will be confirmed prior to you placing your order. Any collections must be
arranged 2 working days in advanced.
Shortages, Defects
& Breakage's
All shortages, defects
and breakages should be notified in writing within 5 working days of delivery.
The Novelty Gift Company will not entertain any claims or be held responsible
for any shortages, breakages and defected products notified after this time.
Any returns within this time will have to be authorised by The Novelty Gift
Company before being returned.
Title & Ownership
The ownership of any goods supplied remains the property of The Novelty Gift
Company until paid in full.
Dispatch Dates & Deliveries
Due to the nature of the types of product and the manufacturing process involved,
The Novelty Gift Company reserves the right to deliver within 2 weeks of any
specified delivery date furthermore we reserve the right to make partial shipments.
However, please be rest assured that every effort will be made to meet requirements.
Cancellations
Orders can ONLY be cancelled
or varied by prior written agreement. Cancellation of any special orders will
result in loss of refund of any deposits paid. We reserve the right to invoice
canceled or returned goods at our discretion.

We reserve the right to review these conditions without proper notice.
16. The Novelty Gift Company Ltd Standard Terms of Business apply to all sales
and will prevail over any different terms or conditions issued by the Purchaser,
except where otherwise agreed in writing. Your signature on the order or your
completion of our our online account application from indicates acceptance
of our Terms of Business.
