August 2005 - Stuff
Tripod
Isn't it nice to see someone with a little design know-how
dipping their toes into the portable speaker pool? The Propeller comes
across all '2001: Space Odyssey' with Shuffle-esque players, which make
it look like a '60s exploratory satellite. Or slap on a Sony NW-HDS,
and it becomes a fancy pole with a big metal flag at the top. In any
case, a single AA is all it takes to get the Propeller singing.

July 2005 - Nuts
Tripod
There are more speaker offerings currently available than you
could ever use, no matter how many Pods you owned. But this is novel
and cheap enough to stand out from the crowd. When folded away it resembles
a deodrant can size and shape wise, but fan it out and it's a three-tier
tripod speaker that your iPod sits snugly atop of. Ten-hour life from
a single AA battery and compatibility with all MP3 players is a boon,
but that price is up in the clouds

July 2005 - Nuts
Tripod
This might look like some sort of satellite, but it's actually
a cool set of speakers that works with any MP3 player (including iPods).
Not only is it really light, but you get ten hours operating time from
just one AA battery
